Can our temple committee order the festival display from you?
No. A temple or public display needs its own licence under the Explosives Rules, through PESO, and a licensed operator to set it off. This site sells household crackers only.
Can we light crackers at home during the festival?
Household items, in your own compound, inside the notified hours. Keep well away from the procession route, the crowd and above all the elephants, which a sudden bang can startle.
How far ahead should we order for the pooram season?
Two to three weeks. The season overlaps Vishu, when the transport offices are busy, and parcels inside Kerala take 2 to 5 days.
