Why crackers belong to Housewarming
It is a short occasion fixed to one moment. A little sound at the gate as the family steps in is all most homes want.
What to buy
One garland for the gate, a few single sound crackers as the milk rises, and sparklers for the children. The rest of the order keeps, sealed and dry, for Vishu.

Not sure how much to buy?
Most families land between ₹5,000 and ₹10,000 at our prices, which at the printed MRP would be several times that. Every ready pack clears the minimum order, so you can start from one and adjust.
Housewarming questions
What is lit at a griha pravesham?
Usually a garland at the gate as the family enters with the lamp, and sparklers for the children afterwards. Some homes light nothing at all, and that is fine too.
Will the parcel reach us before the day?
A week's notice is enough. Parcels to Kochi take 2 to 4 days. The 5,000 rupees minimum is more than a housewarming needs, so most families keep the rest.
Is it safe to light crackers at a new flat?
Only in the open ground below, never on a balcony, and only if the association allows it. A newly painted building and a crowd at the door are reason enough to keep it small.
